Dr. Hershberger, the son of a physician, witnessed firsthand from a young age that one of the greatest gifts a doctor can provide their patient is the pledge to be available. It is Dr. Hershberger’s hope that every one of his patients will find comfort in knowing that he is dedicated to being available and providing a compassionate practice setting that reflects the trust patients place in their doctor. The knowledge and surgical skills Dr. Hershberger has worked tirelessly to refine highlight his devotion to his patients and providing exceptional care. In addition to delivering “more babies than he can count”, Dr. Hershberger has lectured internationally on the subject of minimally invasive surgery techniques. He is also a daVinci-certified robotic surgeon, and takes great pride in his role as a clinical instructor with the University of Kansas School of Medicine – Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
