Dawn A. Lowden, MD, is passionate about providing individualized care and takes the time to listen to her patients. She specializes in DaVinci® robotic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, hysterectomy, single-site hysterectomy, uterine prolapse, incontinence, high-risk obstetrics, adolescent gynecology and prolapse surgery. Dr. Lowden has been in practice for 16 years and previously served patients as a physician at College Hill OB/GYN and Heartland Women’s Health. While attending medical school and her residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, she conducted research in the department of anatomy exploring renal cysts and growth factors in transgenic mice and epidemical growth factors and polycystic kidney disease in mice. Currently, she sits on the Wesley Transfusion Committee, Wesley OB Executive Committee and is medical co-director of the Labor and Delivery Committee. Dr. Lowden is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Outside her professional life, she coaches and participates in team training for the Lymphoma/Leukemia Society and serves on the Provider Care Board of Directors. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
