Dr. Stephanie Oberhelman completed her medical training at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and her surgical training in the Mercy Catholic Health System in Philadelphia. During that time, she was awarded Laparoscopic Resident of the Year. Dr. Oberhelman continued to improve upon her skills while attending Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York, NY, MCP Hahnemann University at Philadelphia, PA, and Houston Northwest Medical Center in Houston, TX working with some of the finest physicians in the country. Settling down in Wichita, Kansas, Dr. Oberhelman has dedicated her practice to excellence in patient care.

Dedicated to educating other professionals, she was honored with the St. Luke’s Physician Recognition Award and was recognized in the AOA Mentor Hall of Fame. She is a respected national presenter and a Clinical Assistant Professor of General Surgery, instructing at both Kansas City University Medicine and Biosciences and at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
